{"id":1108,"date":"2021-12-19T09:02:00","date_gmt":"2021-12-19T07:02:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/healthcare.tinamichaelidou.gr\/?p=1108"},"modified":"2025-02-23T09:04:09","modified_gmt":"2025-02-23T07:04:09","slug":"%cf%80%cf%81%cf%8e%cf%84%ce%b5%cf%82-%ce%b3%ce%b9%ce%bf%cf%81%cf%84%ce%ad%cf%82-%cf%87%cf%89%cf%81%ce%af%cf%82-%cf%84%ce%bf%ce%bd-%ce%bc%cf%80%ce%b1%ce%bc%cf%80%ce%ac","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/healthcare.tinamichaelidou.gr\/en\/%cf%80%cf%81%cf%8e%cf%84%ce%b5%cf%82-%ce%b3%ce%b9%ce%bf%cf%81%cf%84%ce%ad%cf%82-%cf%87%cf%89%cf%81%ce%af%cf%82-%cf%84%ce%bf%ce%bd-%ce%bc%cf%80%ce%b1%ce%bc%cf%80%ce%ac\/","title":{"rendered":"First holidays without dad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>First holidays without dad<\/strong> This year is definitely the most difficult, but also the strangest, holiday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In previous years, we spent all the holidays in the hospitals where my dad was treated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>But, since April things have changed a lot as my dad <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.tinamichaelidou.gr\/2021\/06\/14\/%cf%86%cf%8c%cf%81%ce%bf%cf%82-%cf%84%ce%b9%ce%bc%ce%ae%cf%82-%cf%83%cf%84%ce%bf%ce%bd-%ce%bc%cf%80%ce%b1%ce%bc%cf%80%ce%ac-%ce%bc%ce%bf%cf%85-%ce%b3%ce%b9%ce%b1%cf%84%cf%81%cf%8c-%cf%84%ce%b7%cf%82\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cleft\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year is also the first time we haven&#039;t decorated the house, which makes perfect sense, and it&#039;s the first time we&#039;ll spend the holidays without dad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I think that the whole state of mourning personally only makes it difficult for me in the evenings, that is, during those hours when I don&#039;t occupy my mind with other obligations and I inevitably think about sad things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the day I try not to think about anything, but some days it&#039;s impossible not to think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many people don&#039;t believe that I&#039;m in a mourning phase because, as they tell me, I haven&#039;t lost my sense of humor - if I do, then I&#039;m sorry we got burned - or because I&#039;m in the middle of everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everyone goes through their grief in their own way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are not all the same, we do not all grieve the same way, some can endure, some cannot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#039;s not bad to be broken and unable to endure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But we must soon find strength &amp; move forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because life moves on &amp; those who &quot;left&quot; want to see us happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>First holidays without dad<\/strong> So nothing is the same, many things have changed, some for the better, some have remained the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have lost someone you love, I am waiting for your message to tell me how you will spend your holidays or how you are getting over it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I wish you Happy Holidays, with Health &amp;
